BOB Gear Unveils All-Terrain Jogging Strollers for 2016

The Leader in Jogging Strollers Announces Updated Revolution® PRO and Revolution® FLEX Models.

            FORT MILL, S.C. – February 15, 2016: BOB Gear, the #1 jogging stroller brand, unveiled the newest versions of their most popular and versatile strollers, the 2016 Revolution PRO and 2016 Revolution FLEX. Whether training for a marathon or cruising the local park, BOB Revolution strollers blend rugged performance with premium style.

For both off- and on-road fitness and perfect for jogging or walking on all terrains, the refreshed Revolution PRO & Revolution FLEX stroller models share the following 2016 updates:

  • Increased weight capacity to 75lbs (single models only) for longer lifespan

  • Easy, one-hand recline for on-the-go adjustments

  • 25% larger Low Boy Cargo Basket for added convenience during all types of strolls

  • Improved quick-release on front & back wheels for added safety and usability

  • More upright seating for the child’s comfort

Both models still offer the versatility features that have helped position BOB Gear as the #1 jogging stroller brand, including:

  • The swiveling-locking front wheel, which offers superior maneuverability and increased jogging stability

  • A 9-position adjustable handlebar for superior comfort at any parent’s height

The top-of-the-line 2016 Revolution PRO (MSRP: $559.99) is similar to the FLEX, but offers the advantage of a hand-activated rear drum brake for extra control when running or jogging downhill. With its unique styling in a black frame, the Revolution PRO is now available in Black and Meadow (a grassy green). The two additional fashions, Lagoon (a bright turquoise) and Canyon (vibrant orange), will become available in the Spring.

The market-leading 2016 Revolution FLEX (MSRP: $499.99) is a favorite among parents looking for a stroller that can tackle urban treks as well as family-friendly hikes. The FLEX is now available in Black and Red and will become available in Lagoon and Canyon in the Spring.

The two-child DUALLIE® version of the 2016 Revolution PRO (MSRP: $769.99) comes out in Black in early Spring. The 2016 Revolution FLEX DUALLIE (MSRP: $709.99) will be available in Black and Red beginning in mid-March. Consumers can also purchase it in Lagoon or Canyon starting in late Spring.

All BOB Gear jogging strollers are suitable for walking with children starting at eight weeks or from birth when paired with a BOB Infant Car Seat Adapter and an infant car seat, such as the BOB Gear B-Safe 35 by Britax (both sold separately). Because children develop at different rates, BOB Gear also recommends that users wait until the child is at least eight months old before jogging or running with their stroller.
